Well, another FIRST during my MTC week! I have never had the experience of ordering food from a vehicle located inside a building. To think of doing that, let alone doing it inside the 3rd largest mall in Ontario, Toronto’s Eaton Centre located downtown Toronto at 220 Yonge Street, would never have occurred to a small town rural girl from Barry’s Bay. But, when visiting Toronto’s Eaton Centre you need to do just that! Richtree Natural
Market’s vehicle is not hard to spot- a blue and white 1967 Volkswagen raptop bus! You won’t be able to resist the authentic, creative, unique look to this restaurant. It certainly catches your eye and your nose! The food smells so good! The menu at Richtree Tacos and Burritos offers other dishes aside from the ones clearly stated in their name, however the tacos and burritos are seemingly what they are known for- they were TASTY! The Hearts of Palm Burrito was my choice, and it is actually a new addition to the menu! It was a refreshing, sweet, is gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian- the hearts of palm vegetable is a main ingredient which offers an delicious artichoke taste, high fiber, and a low calorie intake; a great choice for a healthy eater. I had never heard of the heart of palm vegetable, but the unique name was one of the things that helped me make my decision! My experience at Richtree Tacos and Burritos was nothing short of memorable; the staff was so friendly, efficient, and even after definitely 50 plus photos, they still had smiles to share! Thank you to all of the staff of the Richtree Natural Market for the sweet and delicious service and for hosting all of the MTC 2015 delegates and staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
